ABUS RAW ILS is a platform designed for both pilots and non-pilots seeking to enhance their skills in flying A/THR engaged raw data ILS approaches, replicating a flight display akin to those found in modern airliners. This simulation commences with a fixed CONFIG FULL setup and A/THR activation, withholding the option for configuration adjustments or A/THR disconnection during the approach phase. The simulation concludes under different conditions, such as reaching an out-of-tolerance limit, achieving the established minimums, or after 7 seconds from selecting GA. Users have the flexibility to adjust environmental and ILS data accordingly. Additionally, a basic GA maneuver (gear and single-stage flap retraction) may be executed once the simulation descends below the GA acceleration altitude. Whether aiming to refine one's scan rate or simply enjoy the experience, ABUS RAW ILS caters to individuals in both left and right seat configurations.
